The Syniti Business Development Representative (ISR) role is split into three key aspects:

  1. Lead Generation
    1. Syniti clients currently make up a large number of the worlds leading businesses, but in order to continue our incredible growth trajectory we need to uncover additional opportunities.
    2. Syniti BDR’s will work with our marketing teams to discover, qualify and then transition opportunities to our Regional Account Directors.
  2. Opportunity Qualification
    1. As well as discovering opportunities our lead generation engine provides a number of prospects that need to be effectively qualified before passing onto the Account Directors.
    2. The BDR’s will be responsible for taking prospects through to first meeting stage.
  3. Partner Engagement
    1. Syniti have grown a significant presence amongst the world’s best know Global Strategic Integrator’s.   One of the key activites for the BDR will be to work with our partners to jointly qualify opportunities.

There will be a requirement to use channels such as phone, email and LinkedIn messages to engage prospects.   We will also ensure BDR’s are involved in the initial online meetings.   This ensures continuity for the Client and helps the BDR learn from some of the most successful sales people in EMEA.


This position will be based at our office in Barcelona, but once embedded into the team we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements (i.e. a mix of office and working from home).



  • Pro-actively generate, qualify, progress and close meetings regarding the Syniti Knowledge Platform.
  • Achieve personal quarterly meeting targets.
  • Ensure all information is added to our company CRM system.
  • Work with Marketing, Alliances and Sales to ensure Optimal lead maturity.
  • Participate in marketing events towards the region by driving invitations and follow ups on regional campaigns.



  • Excellent communicator across all platforms: LinkedIn, email, phone etc.
  • Confidence to discuss digital transformation projects with senior business and technical users
  • Social media savvy – be able to network and post engaging content across LinkedIn to build social presence
  • Ability to understand business drivers/strategy
  • Interest in technology and good technical aptitude
  • Able to build excellent long-term relationships
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Numerate with a high attention to detail
  • Able to strive to achieve set KPI's and sales targets
  • Interest in technology and good technical aptitude
  • Pro-active, tenacious, enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Good problem-solving capabilities
  • Willingness to advance knowledge and research the data migration/Cloud/Information Governance technology markets and industry sectors



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technology discipline would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in an internal sales and/or customer facing role
  • Experience with and/or Marketo would be an an advantage
  • Fluent in both written and oral English/ Spanish.
  • Fluency in additional languages would be an advantage
