The ROLE

 

The Human Resources Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the success of Syniti’s HR department, delivering full-cycle HR service to employees and the business. As a part of this role, the HR Administrator will work closely with the HR Business Partner in Spain to carry out key employee-based projects across the region. A key component to this role is the incumbent’s ability to develop exceptional relationships with all company stakeholders while serving as a part of Syniti’s Global HR team.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with the HR team in regards to employees pastoral care, wellbeing, career progression, and labour relations.
  • Support the end-to-end employee cycle: hiring, onboarding, development, performance, leavers.
  • Maintain employee files and data in the HRIS system to ensure it is up to date.
  • Administer staff benefits like the Employee Assistance Programme, language lessons, flexible compensation, health insurance, pension plan.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment regulations for disability law, equality plan, working hours tracker, teleworking, etc.
  • Have a good understanding of our Collective Agreement and local policies.
  • Collaborate with senior management on the application of regional laws and procedures.
  • Coordinate events and book meeting rooms, caterings, hotels, travel, restaurants.
  • Handle allowances and leaves of absence: holidays, sickness, parent leave, others.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the office. Order supplies from print ink to groceries.
  • Administer the Health and Safety plans, trainings and medical examinations.
  • Setup new supplier forms and review invoices for approval in our internal system.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other departments from Finance to Marketing when required.
  • Arrange courier services when needed.
  • Manage employee recognition awards
  • Proactively develop business and industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities in order to progress within the department.

 

 

WHAT IT TAKES

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organisational Development, or a related field (desired)
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in an HR Administrator role
  • Previous work experience in a professional services environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practices for a Spanish entity.
  • Capability and appetite to learn quickly.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors and Concur or other similar systems
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage projects and handle multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong listening skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
