The ROLE
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, at the same time developing a network of customers and partners for new business and driving revenue in all lines of business that include software sales, consulting, training and maintenance. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience and provides overall management support for all assigned accounts across various industries in Australia and New Zealand.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Establish and maintain business relationships with existing and future clients.
- Source & nurture new clients and sales strategies and manage the full sales cycle of new potential clients (in collaboration with the marketing team) until deals are finalized.
- Prospect the market of SAP and non-SAP partners and customer in search of sales opportunities.
- Understand strategies, business objectives and client needs in order to propose services in line with these strategies, objectives and needs.
- Build commercial offers and respond to RFPs while working in collaboration with the presales team.
- Organize discovery sessions and demonstrations with the pre-sales team.
- Negotiate and conclude sales.
- Write and finalize contracts with the support of the management team.
- Support the delivery of sold services and monitor client satisfaction.
- Participate in steering committees during the implementation of SAP solutions, as needed.
- Maintain relationships with our strategic Alliances to drive existing opportunities and in search of new sales opportunities
- Maintain relationships with the Syniti Sales Team.
WHAT IT TAKES
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of professional services, projects and ERP solutions (SAP experience considered a very strong asset).
- Proven sales history of meeting objectives and targets.
- Ability to capitalize on existing relationships and knowledge in order to increase sales.
- Strong understanding of Data Management, Data Governance or Data Transformation is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
- Must be results-oriented, and demonstrate a “Can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
