The ROLE
The Delivery Partner is a senior member of our Consulting organization, responsible for leading the delivery of critical projects for our customers, whilst also assisting with the future direction of our Practice-led model, by providing management direction and exercising influence over critical decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define and determine the direction of business opportunities and needs.
- Work to maximise the financial performance of your area of responsibility through delivery leadership of existing accounts and supporting the growth of new ones.
- Support multiple projects by collaborating with Project and Program Managers and leveraging resources to maximise project performance and minimise risk.
- Represent the organisation in a wide assortment of interactions, both inside and outside the organisation.
- Accountable for delivery quality and financial performance of their projects, which are typically across multiple customers.
- Provide overall program planning and deployment oversight for accounts within your Practice.
- Ensure that consultants working on their projects grow in functional, technical and consulting skills, particularly within the industry or practice assigned.
- Develop expectations for engagement management within the Americas region.
- Ensure continuity of personnel as needed (e.g., number, skills, C level).
- Effectively support engagement and proposal teams.
- Effectively manage the most difficult and complex relationships with important customers and partners.
- Assist in negotiating and approving business terms and conditions of contracts with customers and teaming partners.
- Work to seek out new opportunities within the client to maximise revenue opportunity.
- Listen to customer’s problems and develop solutions to drive deeper adoption of Syniti solutions.
- Raise delivery issues to appropriate levels within the customer and Syniti, highlighting when the initial objective of the engagement understanding is changing.
- Ensure the submission of project reports internally and externally alongside the PM or Delivery Lead where there is no PM staffed.
- Adhere to all PM score metrics in a timely manner.
- Proactively suggest process improvements in delivery methodology, approach or back office support functions.
- Watch for health of the team, escalating as required.
- Effectively supervise Project Managers and help them to achieve their career aspirations.
- Travel required up to 80%.
WHAT IT TAKES
- Proven experience in leading SAP migrations.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with on-shore and off-shore delivery teams.
- Participated and led several Project Management initiatives/activities.
- Experience in project delivery methodologies.
- PRINCE2 / PMP or equivalent experience.
- Essential to have experience in working on multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong technical knowledge and a desire to maintain technical excellence.
- An organised and methodical person who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate in simple language to a variety of audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationships builder.
- The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
