The IT Support Technician will be responsible for supporting and assisting users with hardware and software issues Globally. The person in this position will manage and/or support user requests, issues, provision machines and onboard and retire users.

The IT support technician will be in charge of managing the users’ full onboarding and ensuring that the assets are kept well updated and documented. They will be given the opportunity to propose steps that can help improve processes to onboard/retire users from our internal environment.

In addition they will cover tier 1 and 2 for Desktop, Server, AD, 0365, Network, business applications and Cloud services, IN SUPPORT OF Business Services and Regional offices, working with the Global support team to cover follow the sun support.




  • Onboard new starters, provisioning equipment, email addresses and VPN credentials
  • Troubleshooting users’ machines. Queries range from hardware to software issues. Software issues can include  Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive.
  • Network support, maintenance  and sustainability, including WAN, LAN, wireless, internet connectivity and print services in multiple office locations and provide support to remote users
  • Physical and virtual server support, maintenance  and sustainability
  • Endpoint support, maintenance  and sustainability including Laptop. Desktops, mobile devices
  • Business application support, maintenance  and sustainability
  • Vulnerability support, maintenance  and sustainability
  • Providing a friendly and helpful first point of contact for internal clients
  • Listening to client issues, noting key information and being patient in conversations
  • Promoting a can do attitude by looking for solutions and not problems
  • Completing 1st and 2nd line service requests
  • Communicate directly with customers (internal and external) to record, progress and resolve issues that they may be experiencing when using their services
  • Manage users within the Active directory
  • Perform tasks as directed and under own initiative to deploy, configure, administer and maintain PCs located throughout the organization
  • Use technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills and a repeatable process to resolve issues with laptops and software and document resolution where appropriate
  • Participate in technology purchasing, assisting with selection, ordering, receipt and initial setup of computers and network devices (including end user)
  • Develops documentation as needed to support all the above processes
  • Asset management. Managing an asset list for the EMEA region and keeping it regularly updated as new people start and leave
  • Maintaining and submitting timesheets and recording time




  • IT qualifications an advantage (MSP, CISCO, AWS etc)
  • 3-5 years work experience within the IT Support
  • Proactive and being able to make suggestions to improve processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
  • Willingness and passion to learn
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
