Role Overview

In this role, you are a product leader with end-to-end accountability for a major SKP capability area. You work in close partnership with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering to shape strategy, define outcomes, and ensure world‑class execution.

You are more than a backlog owner—you are the voice of the customer, steward of the data lifecycle, and decision authority for how complex ERP data journeys are delivered through SKP. You leverage AI‑augmented tooling, visual prototyping, and deep technical expertise to ensure the platform consistently delivers a trusted Golden Record at enterprise scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Product Ownership & Agile Execution: Own the vision, domain roadmap contribution, and execution for a major SKP capability (e.g., Migrate, Replicate, Drive, Orchestrate). Ensure effective backlog refinement, sprint planning, and estimation to enable predictable, outcome‑driven delivery at enterprise scale.
  • Modern Requirement Engineering: Translate strategy into crisp Epics and User Stories. Use AI-augmented tools to accelerate technical documentation, generate edge-case test scenarios, and research complex ERP integration patterns.
  • UX & Workflow Prototyping: Actively build mockup screens and wireframes (using tools like VS Code and Figma) to visualize data journeys. You will ensure that the "Data Steward" and "Developer" experiences within SKP are intuitive and world-class.
  • Stakeholder & Lifecycle Integration: Partner with Architecture and Engineering to define functional/non-functional requirements (scalability, security). Ensure that the full data lifecycle—from Cataloging to Governance—integrates seamlessly to avoid duplication and maximize SKP value.
  • Quality & Acceptance: Work with the Product Experience & Quality (PXQ) team to define "What Good Looks Like." Serve as the final gatekeeper, validating that features meet rigorous enterprise standards and align with real-world user journeys.
  • Operational Feedback Loop: Engage with Support and Customer Success to incorporate production learnings into the backlog, ensuring the platform evolves based on actual enterprise performance.

Who You Are

  • The Technical Veteran: 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Sr. Business Analyst on enterprise-grade data products. You have a solid grasp of data integration, replication, APIs, and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure).
  • Enterprise Data Expert: Deep experience with the SAP ecosystem and large-scale transformations. You understand the "plumbing" of MDM, Data Quality, and Governance. Familiarity with SAP MDG or Informatica is a significant plus.
  • The Modern Builder: You are an AI-native professional, comfortable using LLMs to optimize workflows. You are also a "visual" PO who prefers a mockup over a long text document to communicate vision.
  • The Agile Leader: CSPO or equivalent; experienced in managing complex dependencies, risk, and scope across distributed teams.
  • Clear Communicator: Equally effective explaining complex data flows to business stakeholders and architectural intent to senior engineers.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.

Key Skills

  • Outcome‑Driven Backlog Leadership: Expert at sequencing work to deliver measurable business value.
  • Technical Storytelling: Writes stories and acceptance criteria that eliminate ambiguity and accelerate delivery.
  • Visual Product Communication: Strong use of diagrams, wireframes, and flows to align teams and stakeholders.
  • AI‑Enabled Product Execution: Applies AI/ML thoughtfully to documentation, data quality, matching, and insight generation.
  • Execution Excellence: Proven ability to deliver incrementally while maintaining enterprise‑grade quality.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Builds trust, alignment, and momentum across Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Customer teams.

Why Join Syniti?
