The ROLE

The Technical Trainer conducts engaging onsite and virtual training to new hires, active employees, customers and partners to transfer knowledge and enable learners to maximise the value of Syniti solutions, hence driving adoption of the Product line. This person will also, at times, engage in the design of new courses while maintaining current courses. The position includes designing for technology-based learning, including self-study, virtual classroom, job aids, and employee performance support.

This role has been designated as a remote position allowing qualified talent throughout the listed country to be considered for the opportunity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Deliver engaging multi-day training events in a variety of modes, providing education on core Syniti solutions and SynitiONE Methodology.
  • Provide pre- and post-training support to participants as needed.
  • Configuration of applications based on training and curriculum requirements
    Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to implement problem/case-based learning and interactive educational methodologies.
  • Review and test new and revised curriculum offerings from other team members, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement; contributes to new curriculum or program ideas.
  • Partner with others for the design, technical development and publishing of technical training curriculum while working collaboratively in a cross functional team with other subject matter experts.
  • Occasional regional travel required as needed to deliver on-site training classes. Occasional weekend working required to support & deliver recruitment sessions as Syniti continues on its growth path.

 

 

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in delivering training, technical training preferred
  • Ability to identify individual learning needs/preferences from the outset and address these within set content.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of internal/external individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (oral and written) with an emphasis on presentation skills in a professional manner.
  • Strong technical background; ability to understand and explain highly technical subject matter to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a collaborative team
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks and consistently complete deliverables on schedule
  • A strong capacity for technical writing and editing of technical manuals, quick guides, video scripts and other materials
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and technical aptitude
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office tools and role specific learning technologies (e.g. Captivate, Camtasia, LMS Platforms, Articulate, Synthesia)
  • Experience with ETL or Data Management tools preferred. Hands on experience with SAP data solutions, or other relevant ERP platforms (e.g. MS Dynamics 365, Oracle, Infor) preferred.
