The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist is tasked to provide support to the business and finance function with a key focus on purchase ledger processes using an automated invoice and expenses system, payment of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements, accounts payable review and reconciliation.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately process invoices and employee reimbursement in a timely manner and accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Obtain proper supporting documents such as contracts, completed vendor forms and questionnaires
  • Monitor invoices and employee reimbursement approval status.
  • Manage accounts payable inbox by responding to vendor and employee inquiries within the prescribed time limit
  • Process bank payment set up, cash postings and document applications.
  • Maintain monthly accounts payable aging and other related account reconciliation
  • Prepare disbursement schedule or payment list
  • Assist with month end close activities, audit requirements, account analysis and other management inquiries
  • Perform required activities and tasks within the prescribed service level of agreement and deadline.



  • A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance or related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience ideally in disbursement and accounts payable management from a multinational company dealing with software products and consulting services.
  • Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
