Lead Consultant

BackOffice Associates, LLC d/b/a Syniti has a job opening for the position of Lead Consultant – C4 based out of its location in Needham, MA. The wage offered is $184,995 to $200,000 per year.

Job Duties: The Lead Data Migration Consultant is a data engineering professional responsible for managing and executing complex data migration projects in support of enterprise ERP implementations. Lead a small team of data consultants and coordinate all data migration activities within an assigned process area or workstream. Collaborate with functional consultants and client stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes. Analyze source and target data structures to design effective data conversion strategies using Syniti's data management platform. Develop, maintain, and execute data migration rules, load programs, and reconciliation reports. Ensure adherence to best practices and Syniti development standards in all technical deliverables. Support all project phases including data assessment, design, build, test, and deployment. Perform end-to-end data loads, data validation, and issue resolution in coordination with project teams. Prepare documentation, provide status updates, and communicate progress to project leadership and customer PMOs. Mentor junior data consultants and provide quality oversight for their work. Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering timely, accurate, and complete data migration services. This position is 100% remote and can be performed from any home office in the United States. The role reports to headquarters in Needham, Massachusetts. 30% domestic and international travel is required (25% domestic, 5% international).

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related academic field, plus 5 years of experience in enterprise data projects or in any occupation in which the experience was gained, plus demonstrated experience in: End-to-end data migration processes within ERP implementation to include the development of data migration rules, execution of data loads and reconciliations, and maintenance of project documentation; SQL-based databases to include ETL tools; Lead small technical teams and collaborate with functional consultants in client-facing environments; SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server; SAP Data Services (BODS) for data migration and transformation; Structured Query Language (SQL) for database management; Data governance and data quality frameworks in regulated industry environments; Enterprise-grade ETL tools, to include Informatica PowerCenter; ERP data migration processes, to include SAP S/4HANA; and Leading cross-functional project teams in data migration or ERP transformation initiatives.
