THE ROLE
Master Data Governance consultant, responsible for functional and technical support/ maintenance of master data objects in SAP MDG, ECC, S4H, FIORI.
(Level depending on experience).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Planning and execution of activities related to the implementation of the SAP-MDG solution.
- Evaluation of the current information management of Architecture-Data (AS IS) and future model profiling (TO BE).
- SAP MDG Implementation: management of design and implementation phases( technical and functional ).
- Design and execution master data configurations for main catalogs governed by MDG: clients – vendors (BP figure), products, materials and finances, including data harmonization that involves de-duplication and massive changes.
- Generation of technical requirements to ensure that the technological environment allows the replication of data in different instances-related modules.
- Generate SAP product and solution roadmaps around the defined data strategy.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand specific business data needs and to translate those requirements into a comprehensive solution.
- Workplan follow-up and progress reports.
WHAT IT TAKES
- 3+ years experience MDG implementation projects: initial, roll out and upgrades
- 5+ years experience in SAP technologies
- Understanding the SAP MDG technical framework: BADI, BAPI / RFC / FM, workflows, BRF +, business services, IDOC, Floorplan Manager, WebDynPro, Fiori and MDG API.
- Conducted previous SAP MDG Implementations, technical and functional phases.
- Knowledge of SAP data dictionary tables, views, relationships and correspondence of data architecture for ECC and S4HANA for various SAP master and transactional data entities, including a great depth of functional and knowledge of central master data objects such as customers, vendors, materials and finance specific data.
- Ability to transform business and operational needs into technical solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP best practices and ASAP methodology (SAP certifications a plus)
- Effective communication and development of work teams, as well as relationship with client teams related to the project.

- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
