The ROLE

As an experienced Project Manager you will be expected to successfully run delivery projects (data migration, etc.) during their different stagesfrom a project management methodology perspective: preparation/mobilisation, execution, governance,billing/finance and closure. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Leading the planning and implementation of projects 
  • Defining a project’s scope and goals 
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines 
  • Coordinating project staff 
  • Resource planning and allocation 
  • Quality assurance 
  • Carrying out risk assessments 
  • Managing project administration, including all documentation 
  • Meeting budgetary objectives 
  • Reporting regularly to senior management 
  • Managing client relationships 
  • Tracking project performance 
  • Project evaluations and results measurement 
  • Change request process management 

 

WHAT IT TAKES

 

You will have a track record of successful delivering project managementtasks where you have operated in the capacity of Project Manager. Hands-onexperience is a must, alongside good communication and management skills. 

 

  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams 
  • Participated and led several project management initiatives/ activities 
  • Experience in project delivery methodologies 
  • It is essential that you have experience in working on multiple concurrent projects 

 

Desirable: 

  • PMP certification or any other PM certification 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Experience in data related projects (migration, governance, quality) 
  • Databases SQL Server, Oracle etc 

 

  • An organised and methodical person who enjoys working in a collaborative environment 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and spoken English 
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate in simple language to a variety ofaudiences 
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationships builder 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure 
  • Technical knowledge related to the project may also be required
