Syniti has a community of over 1350 consultants across three regions with a blend of onsite and office based delivery consultants.  Our client base present engagements that vary from a single consultant to a 50+ strong multi-region project team.  Syniti continues to experience strong growth for their Services from a global client and Partner base and are looking for a Global Resource Management Lead to shape and adapt our existing RM function to facilitate Syniti’s growth going forward.


The Global Resource Management Lead is a key role for Syniti to set, implement and govern a shared common vision to realize best in class Resource Management processes underpinned by a common technology allowing regional RM personnel to realize their full potential.


The successful candidate will need to show a mastery of Resource Management processes within a software led consulting organization. In this role you will need to use a positive ‘can do’ mindset to lead, innovate and exercise independent thinking and judgement.


The role stretches from defining the consultant experience with RM, through accurate demand / supply forecasting and staffing processes alongside the utilization and financial realization aspects of running an efficient consulting team at both deployment and in flight phases.  Experience in multi centre resource load balancing across three regions is critical for Syniti for this role.


Syniti has chosen Kimble as their PSA platform of choice, the successful candidate will ideally have experience on the platform and will need to embrace all aspects of the Kimble solution and is able to articulate and sell the value of features and functions in business value terms to regional stakeholders.  A strong working relationship with Kimble is expected to be fostered.

  • Drive business strategy by innovating, implementing, and executing talent supply and demand initiatives.
  • Work towards achieving a detailed understanding of existing Syniti processes at regional levels.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of how to build change management plans that are not one size fits all but flexible enough for regions to adapt and embrace the global definitions successfully.
    • Embrace a ‘globally defined and regionally executed’ mindset.
    • Show ability to articulate risk to the business with mitigation paths in place.
  • Set out an initial and ongoing vision and plan for RM processes.
    • Use strong selling skills to position the benefits of each change and demonstrate business value to the regions of the outcome.
    • Include measures of success and ROI as needed.
    • Partner with regional RM teams to ensure execution on long term and short term plans
    • Facilitate the ability to set scheduling expectations around financial needs with part time and overtime requests to ensure spread of workload.
    • Drive consistency across Syniti regions to allow consolidated global view of all near term demand (+3 months)
    • Understand business levers and create a long term demand (+6-12 months rolling) demand plan aligned to regional revenue goals
  • Show sensitivity and negotiation skills to engage local areas to overcome and resistance that may occur in different regions.
  • Prepare and represent the RM function for future M&A activity.
  • Specify and track productivity metric measures through RM across the consulting community to maximise profitability for the company.
    • For example: in flight project margin improvements, utilization efficiencies, realization, open demand roles and time to staff.
  • Have a passion for detail to understand how new RM process definitions will impact surrounding processes, potentially outside of immediate RM line of business.
    • Ensure agreed processes are documented with appropriate education support and enablement programs.
  • Seek to understand regional differences across EMEA, APJ and Americas for regional compliance or regulatory needs.




  • Well versed in Resource Management processes within a software led consulting organization
  • Experience in managing a global team of RM professionals
  • Able to manage and influence stakeholders towards a common objective that delivers the agreed desired business outcome; minimize the impact of change within a diverse multi-cultural consultant, client and partner ecosystem
  • Strong sensitive stakeholder management and listening skills
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills with ability to extrapolate data points around root cause and suggest fixes.
  • Experience with Kimble or similar PSA tools
  • Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 7+ years of relevant experience.
