Managing Solution Advisor

 

The Solution Advisor will work alongside portfolio prospects and current clients to design data management solutions that drive business outcomes.  They will drive awareness of our data solutions (both services and software) and will be the leading evangelist for our unique data management approach at their portfolio prospects and clients. The Solution Advisor will be responsible for solution education, scoping and planning, strategic oversight and risk management for our client data programs.  She or he will be accountable for initial client acquisition and ongoing client satisfaction at a portfolio of Fortune 500 organizations.  They will possess in-depth knowledge of our clients and their respective industries.  They will work closely with Client Account Executives during new customer pursuits to design superior and differential solutions. Their performance will be measured on client win rate, client satisfaction, relationship tenure, and partnership strength.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES

 

  • Establish trusted relationships with leadership teams within portfolio prospects and clients
  • Evangelize our unique methodology and solutions for data management and digital transformation
  • Design bespoke programs and solutions in response to client scenarios, identifying the optimal mix of software and services to secure client success
  • Educate clients and prospective clients about the value of our data management solutions, speaking with the authority of an industry expert and thought leader.
  • Align closely with the client account executives to design solutions that are truly differential and that create superior value compared to competing alternatives.
  • Align closely with the consulting services organization to ensure that solutions are appropriately scoped and leverage available-to-promise talent
  • Design and develop proposals in partnership with sales operations, including resource plans, pricing, and content.
  • Monitor active programs within a portfolio of customers to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes
  • Monitor existing programs for emerging risks and design effective mitigations
  • Act as a recognized industry leader by publishing articles, speaking with analysts, and presenting at trade shows.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships with new solutions to emerging needs.
  • Establish and leverage partner relationships where appropriate.
  • Support multiple GTM channels (direct, partner, SAP).

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. 

 

  • 10-20 yrs of related experience
  • Deep experience with Syniti products/services or related Enterprise Data products/services 
  • Industry expert with regards to SAP tools, products, data models, challenges and solutions
  • Experience leading multiple full-lifecycle data initiatives from conception through successful go-live
  • Proven ability to drive strategic customer conversations with client leadership teams
  • Proven ability to design leading-edge value-based solutions working with consulting, sales and partners
  • Proven ability to translate prospective customer’s objectives into solutions enabled by our products/consultants
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client and partner relationships that will cultivate business opportunities and value for clients
  • Knowledge of business models, operating models, cost-benefit analysis and risk management
  • Ability to identify business value and to develop business cases for strategic data initiatives 
  • Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Impeccable customer service skills and experience working directly with executive decision makers
  • Self-starter with independent drive and ability to deliver results under pressure
  • Ability to accommodate position requirements of 50% + travel
