Position Summary
The Cloud Operations team provides 24x7x365 support for all Syniti SaaS & Hosting customers globally. This business unit is responsible for the day-to-day management and support of the cloud operations environment including the uptime, performance and high availability of all customer supporting systems inside of the SaaS & Hosted environments. The SaaS & hosted ecosystem is comprised of multi-tiered applications, microservice architectures, containers & virtual servers as well as large & complex multi-terabyte SQL database systems.
The Senior Cloud Operations Analyst will be troubleshooting and maintaining complex systems, responsible for designing, implementing & managing key infrastructure systems including Active Directory, OS Patching, Repositories, SW management systems, DNS, and other centralized shared services that will need to be implemented in support of customer systems across private and public cloud environments including AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 cloud operations support as part of a global SaaS Cloud Operations team
- Resolve incidents to ensure system uptime and expected service levels
- Analyze cloud systems issues and provide recommendations and supporting data to monitor, simplify, and automate tasks
- Execute change requests that impact production systems used by our diverse portfolio of products
- Deploy patches and upgrades, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities as required.

- Will serve as a primary infrastructure engineer for the cloud operations team on major projects inside of private and public cloud
- Responsible for training technical support staff architecture, configuration management, and related to infrastructure and platform lifecycle processes
- Responsible for working with Platforms & Systems SREs to appropriately design and solutions and establish architectures and standards that can ultimately be automated
- Responsible for implementing the platform systems and overseeing the effective day to day management such as patching of all systems, software management, AD management, GPOs etc
- Responsible for managing container and corresponding Kubernetes orchestration environments inside private & public clouds (AWS)
- Continuous development of infrastructure self-healing systems in order to reduce toil
- Partake in a rotation providing incident and request handling support, identifying improvement opportunities where automation or rearchitecting of solutions can improve overall outcomes and reduce toil.

Technical Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in job specific skills.
- 5+ years of experience in scalable infrastructure and platforms architecture, implementation, and management including Active Directory, OS Patching, Software Management, Repositories, backups and other infrastructure services
- 3+ years of experience in Networking and troubleshooting environment
- 3+ years of experience in windows administration and management
- 3+ years of experience in application container management and orchestration with Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience in script development in python or powershell related to infrastructure lifecycle management
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
