The ROLE
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing relationships and actively seeking new sales opportunities. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional teams to improve the entire customer experience. Over time, you will create long-term, trusted relationships with our customers. At Syniti, a successful Strategic Account Manager collaborates with our sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer engagements
- Build and maintain strong, trusted and long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify other areas of growth to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Timely and accurate forecasting and maintain Salesforce.com hygiene
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Own and assist with resolving client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Travel up to 80% or more based on business need
WHAT IT TAKES
- 10+ years of experience in IT software & services sales or consulting
- Proven success in an enterprise sales function
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Solid experience with Salesforce and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
